Day and Night time

Our hello word this week is Bonjour. It comes from France. We know that France is on the other side of the planet from New Zealand. When the Earth turns around we are at day time and France is at night time because France is on the other side of the Earth and the other side of the Earth is not facing the sun.

Dancing at Telstra Clear

On Monday, we were dancing on the stage in a show. My friends were watching us dancing. Our mums and dads were watching us too. We were dancing like an octopus with our hands on our faces. After we finished our show we went back to school. Then we went home.

Duffy Theatre Show

On Monday last week we went to the Duffy Show in the hall. We heard singing. We saw running. We saw Scruffy. He wanted to play with Duffy but Duffy said, "I'm reading this book."
Then it was a girl's birthday and then she tried to wake up her dad. Then Scruffy ripped the book.
We had fun because it was a funny kids show.

 

Sky Tower Models

  We built these Sky Tower models in class. They are really tall like the real Sky Tower. We saw the Sky Tower when we went into the city at Christmas. We couldn't build them too tall or else they would fall down because the tops are heavy and they are not stuck together properly. We like our Sky Tower models.

Our Fun Walk

On Monday we went for a fun walk. We walked around the school. We looked for sneaky driveways. When we finished the fun walk we went  back to class.

Groups We Belong To

 

In class we talked about the groups that we belong to. We did a Think, Pair, Share. We wrote down our ideas using bubbl.us. Then we printed it. This is our brainstorm.

My Holidays

In the holidays I went to my cousin's sports day. We were playing egg and spoon. We ran around the cones. Then I went back home and I went to have a bath. Then I went to bed.
